When I googled Harry Potter, the first thing that is brought up is the Warner Brother's Website, trying it's best to sell you the movies and the gear that goes along with it. It's an interesting site, which is easy to navigate, but it doesn't really tell you much about the books, just the most recent movie to come out on DVD. It also gives you sweepstakes and other contests you can enter. I'll put the link Here but this isn't really what I was looking for.

The other site that I know I use, is a fan run site called Veritaserum. I love this website, because it speaks to the books and the movies. It also gives you information on news involving the actors and J.K. Rowling. It tells you about contests and things as well, but it also gives you awesome information about all the things happening in "The Wizarding World." It has chatrooms for trivia and general discussion, along with forums where you could predict what would happen in future books and gave a place for fanfiction and fan art.

Now, I know there was a lot of controversy about these books, especially among Christians. Questions were often asked about if it promoted Wiccan ideals or if it is a Christian allegory. This is something that has always interested me with these books, also where I got my ideal of regeneration from the books. Therefore, I also googled "Harry Potter and Christianity." I came up with a couple of interesting sites, the most interesting of these coming from the author herself and a website known as "The Christian Post." This link is right here

Now, I also chose the picture I chose from an artist on a website called deviantart. Her user name is Hakumo. So, credit must be given where credit is due. I chose for this page to do a piece of fan art because I feel as though you are shown how Harry Potter is viewed through not only its representation online in links and websites, but through it's fan art that is shown to us from talented (and admittedly the occasional not so-talented) fan artist.  I also wanted to include another picture...

This is another image off the same website, Deviant Art, created by an artist whose user name is Zhuzhu. Obviously, this is not a flattering representation of the Harry Potter series, and is still posted online and has Harry shown in a negative depiction. This just shows you that you don't always have to find links, to prove what kind of fandom (or antifandom) is out there.
